Former partner of Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient and former CEO of the Girl Scouts Frances Hesselbein, Sarah is the executive producer of the Telly Award-winning Defining Moments: The Life and Leadership of Quiet Revolutionary Frances Hesselbein. Sarah’s mission is to help leaders and organizations work together towards a bright future.

Founder and CEO of Leader to Leader Institute, Sarah is the editor-in-chief of the 18-time Apex Award-winning Leader to Leader journal, and Working Together”™ partner of former CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Ford Motor Company Alan Mulally, considered one of the greatest leaders of the 21st Century.

Sarah is the former chief operating officer for Marshall Goldsmith, #1 best-selling New York Times and Wall Street Journal author of What Got You Here Won’t Get You There and Triggers, Thinkers50 Hall of Fame legendary leadership coach, and pioneering executive coach whose work has been recognized by almost every professional organization in his field.
Sarah is the author and editor of numerous books, including "Working Together"™, Making Waves, Work Is Love Made Visible, and Coaching for Leadership. Sarah serves as an advisory board member of the Africa Feature Network, Sociis Group, and the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Forum at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), and she is a founding member of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches.

A certified Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach, Sarah has a BA in English and Environmental Studies from University of Oregon and a Masters in Publishing from George Washington University.
